Karen Brownlee started up her own small catering business in 1993, following the birth of her youngest daughter heather.
Although Karen worked within the local authority catering department, she decided to "go-it-alone" after her guests at her daughters christening party marvelled at how nice the food was...word of mouth soon spread. Before long Karen was getting bookings from further afield. Karen takes a keen interest in healthy eating & wholesome foods. And is one of a few caterers who can convert her produce into calorific values, fats, saturated fats, sugars, carbs & ect ( ideal for special diets) Freshness is priority for any catering business and nothing can be fresher than home grown fruit/vegetables & salads. Karen grows most of her own soft fruit, salad & vegetables at her allotment, and takes great delight in using her own organic grown produce to use for her buffets during the season. |
